The striker block is designed to help prevent the firing pin from prematurely detonating the round before the bolt is in the battery. Unfortunately, faulty striker blocks are commonly found inside the CZ Scorpion from the factory - which can allow and an out of battery detonation. That's why our team has designed and manufactured our replacement - made from a military grade titanium alloy (Ti 6Al-4V ELI: MIL-T-9046) which is incredibly lightweight and tough enough to stand up to the toughest of range days.
